At Edens Garden, we’ve always championed nature’s potential. With our In Bloom collection set to launch on June 6th, we invite you behind the scenes of this exclusive lineup of authentic essential oil blends. Showcasing signature blossoms like Honeysuckle, Lilac, Gardenia, and more, In Bloom offers a fresh approach to floral aromatherapy.
Our aim was to recreate genuine floral moments using only pure, natural ingredients. The challenge? Many beloved scents—Honeysuckle, Gardenia, Lilac—cannot be distilled authentically or are cost-prohibitive when sourced as true essential oils.
Refusing to compromise with synthetics, isolates, or artificial fragrance oils, our formulation team embraced the task of crafting 100% natural blends that capture these blossoms’ signatures, all while upholding Edens Garden’s strict purity standards.
The outcome is a suite of expertly balanced floral blends that feel exclusive and luxurious. Each aroma delivers the sensation of a real blooming flower, free from synthetic perfumes, toxins, or additives.
Development began with extensive research. Our lead formulator dove deep into the chemical makeup of each flower’s volatile compounds, consulting peer-reviewed studies to pinpoint the molecules behind their distinctive scents.
With those insights, we identified essential oils and extracts that share key aromatic components. From there, careful mixing replicated the olfactory profiles of the flowers that inspired us. This science-driven phase laid the groundwork for every blend.
Science set the stage, but creativity completed the picture.
Next, we examined how people describe and respond to floral scents and fragrance oils. Armed with these perceptions, our team merged chemistry and artistry to produce final blends that remain true to the flower yet captivate the senses.
Packaging had to reflect the collection’s unique story. Our designers sketched labels by hand, drawing inspiration from botanical drawings, garden diaries, and vintage seed packet artwork.
Each label was crafted to resemble a notebook page, giving the collection a personal, grounded charm.
