Description

Eucalyptus essential oil is a crisp, camphoraceous, and highly refreshing oil with a sharp, cooling aroma. Steam distilled from the leaves of organically grown Eucalyptus radiata, this oil is a staple in natural home routines, from fresh-smelling cleaning sprays to invigorating spa-style showers. Its sharp, cooling aroma is ideal for a focused, energizing atmosphere.

Why People Love It

  • Cool, fresh aroma: a crisp, airy scent that makes a room feel clean and open
  • Spa-like feel: brings the fresh scent of a eucalyptus steam room home
  • Massage blends: a cooling note in diluted post-exercise massage oils
  • Fresh-smelling home: a favorite in DIY cleaning sprays and diffusers
  • Focused atmosphere: a sharp, alert scent for work and study
  • Energizing: a naturally revitalizing aroma

Aroma Chemistry

Eucalyptus essential oil is rich in oxide and monoterpene compounds:

  • 1,8-Cineole (Eucalyptol): the main aroma molecule, responsible for eucalyptus’s cool, penetrating freshness
  • Alpha-Pinene: adds a crisp, piney, resinous note
  • Limonene: contributes a light, bright citrus edge

Together these constituents create eucalyptus’s clean, invigorating scent.

Energetic, Spiritual & Symbolic Properties

  • Chakras: Throat and Third Eye, for communication, clarity and mental openness
  • Color Correspondence: Light Blue and White, for purity, renewal and focus
  • Planetary Influence: Mercury and Air, for breath, movement and intelligence

In energetic traditions, Eucalyptus is considered cleansing and expansive. It is used to clear stagnation, promote mental freedom, and help release emotional heaviness.

Blending & Compatibility

Eucalyptus’s strong, camphoraceous scent blends well with:

  • Peppermint: for a cool, clarifying blend
  • Lavender: to soften the intensity and soothe the senses
  • Lemon: for fresh, uplifting cleaning or diffuser blends
  • Rosemary: for a crisp, herbal, focused blend
  • Tea Tree: for a fresh, clean, herbal blend
  • Cedarwood: to ground and balance its brightness

Suggested Uses

  • Nebulizing Diffuser®: use 20 to 25 drops to fill the room with a crisp, fresh aroma
  • Aromatic steam: add 1 to 2 drops to hot water for a spa-like, refreshing steam
  • Topical: dilute to 1 to 3% for massage on chest, back, or tired muscles
  • Natural Cleaner: add to a vinegar and water or alcohol base for a fresh-scented surface spray
  • Focus & Energy: inhale directly or diffuse during work or study

Safety & Shelf Life

  • Shelf Life: 3 to 4 years
  • Children: not recommended for children under 6 (due to high 1,8-cineole content); keep out of reach
  • Pregnancy: use with caution; consult your healthcare provider before use
  • Pets: use with caution, ensure proper ventilation and never apply oils to animals
  • Skin: may cause irritation if not properly diluted; avoid near eyes or mucous membranes

Tip: For a crisp, invigorating blend, combine Eucalyptus with Peppermint, Tea Tree, and Lemon in a Nebulizing Diffuser® or massage oil.

Chemicals weaken the animal and attract more parasites. A vicious circle. The pests never start liking the oils and applied properly they do not weaken the pet. They save you money and they small great rather than costing an arm and a leg. And the health of your pet. Why would you put poison on an animal you want to pet? Too many lost Sheep.

If it’s organic then why don’t they have the official USA organic stamp instead of the generic 100% organic? Not buying it!

I Love Eucalyptus essential Oil. It works wonders when someone in the house begins to feel sick with a stuffy head. It opens up the sinus cavity and lets them breath again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this oil in a Nebulizing Diffuser®?

Yes. It is 100% pure essential oil with no carrier oil, water or fragrance added, which is exactly what a Nebulizing Diffuser® needs. About 20 to 25 drops in the glass reservoir is enough in most cases, and 15 to 30 drops gives roughly 1 to 2 hours of diffusion on the low setting.

How long will a bottle last?

A 10ml bottle holds roughly 200 drops, which is about 8 to 10 fills of a Nebulizing Diffuser® reservoir. If you diffuse every day, the 30ml and 50ml sizes mean fewer reorders.

How should I store it?

Keep the cap tightly closed and store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place away from heat and direct sunlight. This helps the oil keep its aroma for longer.

Can I use it on my skin?

Essential oils are highly concentrated. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin, do a small patch test first, and keep oils away from eyes and out of reach of children and pets. Some citrus oils, such as bergamot and cold-pressed lemon, can make skin more sensitive to sunlight.

What are the shipping and return terms?

US shipping is $22.99 and free on essential oil orders over $65. Essential oils cannot be returned.
