Origin and Composition
Thought to have originated in Australia, the pungent, warm and somewhat spicy aroma is best used to purify a location and to cleanse and renew the mind and body. Extracted via steam distillation using the needle-like leaves and heads of the yellow or purplish flowers, tea tree essential oil is very pale in color with a watery viscosity.
Said to ease mental stress and relieve emotional pain, tea tree essential oil is great for cleaning and purifying wounds and infections and treating fatigue and muscle pain.
This pure essential oil is certified 100% organic and is grown using a method and in an environment that has been confirmed to be free of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and herbicidal residues for a period of three consecutive years (and maintains all appropriate certifications which are available upon request).
For aromatherapy use. Also as a mist to deodorize, purify and disinfect. Topically (with dilution) in a lotion or oil to treat scars or skin problems, invigorate the hair and to bolster the immune system.
Tea tree essential oil is great when combined with cinnamon, geranium, rosemary and lavender.
