How It Works

The Exquisite uses Bernoulli’s Principle to naturally atomize pure essential oil without heat or water. A whisper-quiet micro air pump sends pressurized air across a specially designed nozzle inside the glass reservoir, breaking essential oil into an ultra-fine mist of micro-particles. These particles stay suspended in the air longer and are absorbed more effectively than the diluted water vapor produced by ultrasonic devices.

Care & Maintenance

Keeping your Exquisite in peak condition is simple:

  • Weekly cleaning: Remove the glass reservoir and rinse with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl). Use the included pipette to flush the internal tubes.
  • Switching oils: Run a few drops of rubbing alcohol through the reservoir before adding a new oil to prevent scent mixing.
  • Thick oils: Oils like vetiver, patchouli, myrrh, and frankincense can clog micro-tubes. Dilute with Augeo Clean Multi before use, or clean immediately after.
  • Storage: If not using for more than a week, clean the reservoir before storing.

    Nice…but with a few negatives

    Really love the sleek design (5 star) but cannot for the life of me figure out why the power plug has to stick out of the front? I feel this ruins the look and design. I bought a right angle barrel jack adapter to try and hide the cord a little better. Operates well, I keep it on the lowest setting otherwise it burns through oil really fast. I would give a 5 star, but the power cord placement bothers me so I rated it a 3 star.

    I like how this product uses no plastic, and looks great. I am bummed I can’t use it on my night stand as the aromas is too strong for me when I am next it it. My diffuser makes a pulsing sound and the light flicker when that Happens. It doesn’t happens all the time. Not sure if others have similar problem.

    This is the best way I’ve found to create a strong aroma for my essential oils. The nebulizer is beautiful, quiet, and compact which is fantastic for small spaces. And the light turns off which I really like so I can use it in a bedroom at night. Super high quality. My only wish is that the cord would have matched the unit. I bought the white base so it could blend in with my white kitchen and now have a glaring black cord attached to my wall. Not the biggest deal but something that I’ll likely end up switching out on my own. Thank you for making a wonderful product!

    I have tried most all of the methods for dispersing fragrances. I had come to the opinion that the nebulizers were my favorite. The one drawback of the ones I had purchased was that they were more noisy than I wished. The exquisite nebulizer solves that problem in a beautiful, effective way. It is virtually soundless and does a super job of dispersing. I have ordered another.

    I bought the Raindrop model in light wood on Amazon and liked it so much that I ordered the White Exquisite directly from Organic Aromas. I wanted it for my kitchen, so the white was perfect. It is also very simply styled and blends nicely with the decor. I really like that the light doesn’t cycle through the colors (like the raindrop model) but has a continuous white light. It looks very nice when the essential oil is colored (like orange oil) as the light takes on that hue. I just really like it! I like the cycling light also, but sometimes it’s distracting. These diffusers are simply the best! I will start saving for one for my bedroom….
