For centuries, rosemary has been a prized plant deployed in a wide variety of ways, including in food, aromatherapy and on the skin and hair. Origin and Composition

Used since early Roman times, the small, woody evergreen bush has a strong, refreshing herbal smell with camphorous qualities and is clear in color with a watery consistency. Originally from Asia, Rosemary oil is extracted from the plants flowering tops via steam distillation.

Used most often as a way to overcome mental fatigue, depression and to lubricate the skin and hair, rosemary can also be effective at repelling insects. Suggested Use

Rosemary essential oil is great when combined with cedarwood, citronella, rose geranium, lavender and peppermint.
