Care & Maintenance

Keeping your Raindrop in peak condition is simple:

  • Weekly cleaning: Remove the glass reservoir and rinse with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl). Use the included pipette to flush the internal tubes.
  • Switching oils: Run a few drops of rubbing alcohol through the reservoir before adding a new oil to prevent scent mixing.
  • Thick oils: Oils like vetiver, patchouli, myrrh, and frankincense can clog micro-tubes. Dilute with Augeo Clean Multi before use, or clean immediately after.
  • Storage: If not using for more than a week, clean the reservoir before storing.

    I felt it used up my oil too fast. But I had a large room I was using it in. Maybe better for someone with a smaller room. It did put the aroma out really quickly which was very nice.

    Hi there, I did leave a text with you that one of my diffusers leaks out the top. Actually they both do. One is worse than the other. I bought a Wizardry Diffuser the first time and never had any of leakage at all. I had broke the glass container when I moved. That is why I ordered new ones. I am disappointed. Thank you for asking.
    Nobody returned my message that I left a few weeks ago.

    Raindrop - Nebulizing Diffuser

    My previous nebulizer was a lower-cost product from the local department store that began to lose its effectiveness by dispersing primarily water vapor rather than the essential oil — which only seemed to be added to the vapor for about 10-15 minutes during a multi-hour setting. After researching through Amazon, and seeing that this product was included in a New York Times article for best current nebulizers, I decided to try it. The Raindrop was a significant improvement from the previous product because essential oils are evenly distributed through the air for the entire time that you have the nebulizer active until the oils are depleted. I keep the power setting at 10 oclock, and this seems to adequately disperse the essential oils. I have tried Eucalyptus and Signature Blend from Organic Aromas, and both products were of very good quality and appreciated. The one-week of usage cleanup was easy, and simply involved putting a small amount of isopropyl through the dispersion system for 10-15 minutes. Recommending this product!

I had to do a thorough clean to then get it operating correctly. It would have been helpful if there were some trouble-shooting directions either provided with the item or on the website.

    This diffuser is extremely quiet. The only way to hear this is to be right on top of this. This diffuser fills the room with in minutes. Avoid thick oils and deep clean weekly, and your golden. Also pick up a smart plug so you can turn the device on/ off with a smartphone

    My order shipped directly from Hong Kong and arrived, nicely packaged, within 10 days. I love the Nebulizer and I use it every day. It really makes a difference in an old house – the propriety blend encourages deep inhalation and feels great. Operation is quiet, and there’s the option to turn off the coloured lights. The only thing I would have liked to be included as a function is the ability to pause the light on a specific colour.

    I really love this nebulizing diffuser. It is SO powerful compared to diffusers that use water. I love that it can just fill up a room/most of my apartment. The noise is somewhat noticeable – a gentle purring – but I don’t mind it so much! I only hear it when I’m going to sleep and it’s silent in the room otherwise, the noise fades into the background.

    About four months after I had purchased my Raindrop diffuser, it had stopped working all of a sudden. I’m still not 100% sure where to attribute the problem to but I think it’s likely it could have been due to me not cleaning it properly (be sure to let it dry ALL THE WAY before putting it back in, etc.). I emailed the company and they were kind enough to send me a new diffuser free of charge and referred me to more detailed cleaning instructions. I was really impressed with their customer service which inspired me to come over here and do a review!

    Overall, this diffuser is incredible quality and even on the off chance that something goes wrong or gets broken, the company is awesome at helping you out. So, if you’ve been thinking about taking the leap and are an essential oils enthusiast, I’d say just go for it!

    I absolutely love the Nebulizing Diffuser! I used to use the tea-light burners but it was not the quality I was looking for. The oil was very often burnt, the smell varied as the oil wasn’t distributed properly. I was looking for some oils online when I came across a Polish blog, where a herbalist recommends the Organic Aromas as she tested so many of diffusers, oil burners etc but this is the best she knows on the market. Well, she was so right! I am so glad of having it now and enjoying pure aromatherapy!

I also have to keep it away from windows due to the clear glass but I was aware of that when I had bought the diffuser which makes that comment irrelevant. I would like to see this product with the option of dark glass in the future. Anyway, overall I love the product and look forward to using it now and in the future.     So efficient! You get all the benefit of undiluted oils, and a beautiful couloured lights show with it. I found it hard to get a diffuser that isn’t a humidifier as well (in Ireland I really don’t need that) and I am delighted with this one. It arrived fast and very safely packed. It is also safer to use than the humidifier ones that use heat. And it’s pretty!

    The Raindrop is my third nebulizer. I have another that works similar to this one, one that draws oil directly from the bottle as well as two water diffusers. The Raindrop has many wonderful qualities. When it’s described as being quiet it is exactly that. It’s on a table next to my bed about 2 feet from my head and I hear absolutely nothing from the Raindrop. This nebulizer diffuses oil well, it’s beautiful looking (I bought black), the glass is elegant, it’s easy to use, and easy to clean. I have mixed feelings about the changing lights and would like to be able to turn them off sometimes, however, they are softer than my diffuser and are peaceful in a dark bedroom. I do wonder if running a powerful nebulizer for too long is good for the body so I run it for about 30 minutes before sleep, shut it off before the auto shut-off and then turn on my water diffuser to continue help with sleep. If I wake up in the night I turn the Raindrop back on to help me get back to sleep. Overall, I love the Raindrop. I highly recommend it and would purchase it again.

    I ordered this and began using it right away. I love the looks, it is all organic (glass and wood) and it diffuses the oils beautifully.
    The problem is that I did the quick cleanups every couple of days with the alcohol and no problem. after about 2-3 weeks I decided to do a thorough clean and followed the instructions of immersing the glass in hot water with a drop of soap for 30 min. After the clean up the diffuser stopped working! I had ordered 3 more units for gifts because I loved it so much before this, so I tried the glass dispenser from another unit and it worked fine. It appears that there is trapped water in the micro tube, so we also tried adding a bit of alcohol to the tube hoping to dry the micro tubes. Tried also drying the glass upside down for a few days with no luck. No good now and I can’t get a hold of anyone on the phone. Thinking about returning the other 3 units as well because I don’t want this happening to my gift recipients. I would love to update this review with a positive result from the company, but for now this is what it is.
