- Sunscreen – Mixing lavender essential oils with coconut oil, zinc oxide, shea butter, and helichrysum oil makes a wonderful homemade sunscreen that is non-toxic and smells amazing.
- Toothpaste or mouthwash – your Listerine and Colgate are just a variety of chemicals mixed with peppermint and eucalyptus. Make your own toothpaste and mouthwash at home.
- Cosmetics. – adding some lavender, orange or rosemary to a plain lotion or to unscented hand soap is very easy and useful.
- Pesticide – put citronella, rosemary, tea tree and eucalyptus into a spray bottle with a small amount of rubbing alcohol and the rest water to make a very effective insecticide.
