Can Essential Oils Benefit Chronic Illness

Can Essential Oils Benefit Chronic Illness?

By definition, a chronic illness is one that lasts for more than three months. Chronic illness and diseases become more common with age, and therefore many older adults struggle with one or more of them.

The Most Common Chronic Illnesses

  • Cardiovascular Disease
  • Stroke
  • Cancer (breast, colon)
  • Arthritis
  • Diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Epilepsy

These chronic illnesses are not only debilitating, they can be costly to manage. Medications to treat symptoms can range in price, but some people have to choose between their medication and other important necessities each month just to feel better.

Although I have to take my medication, being productive with my businesses, getting out of the house on occasion helps ease my depression symptoms. I recommend using essential oils. Also, if it’s in your budget, I highly recommend the book, The Essential Life. It lists all the essential oils for what ailment you have.
