The Redolence is a compact and versatile Nebulizing Diffuser® with a refined cylindrical silhouette that fits beautifully in tight spaces. Its polished, rounded design pairs a hand-blown cylindrical glass reservoir with a carefully painted plantation hardwood base, creating a balanced and harmonious look that appeals to a wide variety of tastes.

Available in Black, White, Light Wood, and Dark Wood finishes. The Redolence is the smallest full-powered diffuser in the collection, making it ideal for desks, nightstands, and spaces where a larger model might not fit. No water. No heat. No plastic. Just pure, concentrated aromatherapy.

How It Works

The Redolence uses Bernoulli’s Principle to naturally atomize pure essential oil without heat or water. A whisper-quiet micro air pump sends pressurized air across a specially designed nozzle inside the glass reservoir, breaking essential oil into an ultra-fine mist of micro-particles that your body absorbs quickly and effectively.

Care & Maintenance

  • Weekly cleaning: Remove the glass reservoir and rinse with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl). Use the included pipette to flush the internal tubes.
  • Switching oils: Run a few drops of rubbing alcohol through the reservoir before adding a new oil.
  • Thick oils: Dilute with Augeo Clean Multi before use, or clean immediately after.
  • Storage: If not using for more than a week, clean the reservoir before storing.

    Works well but.....

    I like the nebulizer itself. It’s quiet and efficient and I like that the light can be turned off. However the essential oil I ordered (bergamot) smells nothing like bergamot. It’s way too perfumey. I got a headache from breathing it in. I will be looking for an oil with a lighter scent.

    I’ve used the nebulizing diffusers from Organic Aromas for years. I will never go back to a water ultrasonic diffuser. OA neb diffusers cover 1000 sqft easy. I buy extra glass so that when I clean one, I can immediately use another. I have the Raindrop, Redolence, diffusers with extra Raindrop and Aurora glass. If you do as the instructions say and care for it as instructed, they last a very long time. I find that alcohol is a game changer when cleaning because it evaporates fast. I’ve never had to use another method. The customer service is awesome. They answer all of my questions and everything comes perfectly packaged. I’ve never had any breakage from the shipping process. Truly my one and only go-to for aromatherapy diffusers.

    This little fellow performs flawlessly, is easy to use and to clean, and produces essential oils in their entirety in mist form. Heavier oils, like wood and resin oils, must be diluted with monoterpene-rich oils, otherwise they will clog the nozzle, but this is true for any nebulizer. With this one limitation it is otherwise perfect. For me, it’s like re-discovering oils I’ve used for a long time. For instance, sweet marjoram is utterly different with this device than with an inhaler. Fascinating, useful, and valuable.

    We have only had it for a couple of weeks so we can’t honestly comment on the long term quality and value for the price. So far it is working as described. The aromas are strong so we only run it for 15-20 minutes and then turn it off. We also purchased the Discovery sampler pack that has all the oils in 2ml vials to test. So far the Signature blend and Harmony blend are pleasant and delicate. We are still trying out the individual essential oils. The biggest positives of this diffuser is that the oils only come in contact with pyrex glass and there is no use of water.

Does a Nebulizing Diffuser® use water or heat?

No. A Nebulizing Diffuser® uses a gentle stream of air to turn pure essential oil into a fine aroma, so there is no water tank to fill and no heat to change the oil. You get the full scent of the oil, undiluted.

How much oil does it use?

About 20 to 25 drops in the glass reservoir is enough in most cases, and 15 to 30 drops gives roughly 1 to 2 hours of diffusion on the low setting. Keep the oil level at least 1/4 inch below the top of the two small glass tubes at the bottom of the reservoir.

Which oils can I use?

Use 100% pure essential oils. Do not use fragrance oils, oils with carrier oils such as jojoba, almond or grapeseed, or water. Thicker oils such as sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, frankincense, myrrh, benzoin and cypress are best blended with lighter oils, and the diffuser should be cleaned right after using them.

How do I clean it?

Clean the glass reservoir at least once a week. Pour in 6 to 8 ml of 70% or stronger isopropyl alcohol, seal the opening and swirl for about 30 seconds, then use the included pipette to push alcohol through the small tubes. Let it air dry before adding oil again.

How big a room does it cover?

Our classic Nebulizing Diffusers® are made for rooms up to about 800 sq ft (80 sqm). The intensity is adjustable, so you can keep it subtle in a bedroom or turn it up in an open living space.

Will it work outside the US?

Yes. The power adapter is universal (110V to 220V), so it works in most countries with the right plug adapter.

What warranty, shipping and returns do I get?

Every Nebulizing Diffuser® comes with a one-year free parts and service warranty (register it at organicaromas.com/pages/warranty). US shipping is $22.99 and free on diffuser orders over $130. Unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery; essential oils cannot be returned.
