Reduce Inflammation With These 5 Essential Oils

Inflammation is a natural response produced by the body’s immune system. It occurs when the immune system is activated by a foreign invader, such as a virus or bacteria. The white blood cells in the body rush to the area that is infected to fight off the organism, which can cause inflammation at the site. Common symptoms of inflammation include:

  • Redness
  • Joint pain
  • Joint stiffness
  • Loss of joint function
  • Swelling

Autoimmune Diseases

Some diseases can cause the immune system to activate even when there is no foreign body to fight off. The immune system will fight against its own tissues, causing damage. This happens as a result of an autoimmune disease. Some common autoimmune diseases include:

Very helpful article. Essential oils are used in several end-user industries. Major end-user industries such as personal care and cosmetics are also increasingly utilizing essential oils to improve its appeal and product value.

Wow! Great article! Thanks so much for sharing! Turmeric definitely helps with inflammation, and it also helps with acne and acne marks. I use beauty products that contain the essential oil turmeric, and it not only covers my skin flaws, but it also reduces them, too. I have found SO many uses for essential oils! I think it is so great to see essential oils used in so many beauty and skincare products these days. I even have deodorant that has essential oils in it! But back to this article on reducing inflammation with essential oils, another blend I like this time of year is Thieves’ Oil. It has clove, lemon, eucalyptus, cinnamon, and other oils that help keep you from getting sick and make you feel better if you get sick. Thanks again!
