I had a cold last week and got rid of our humidifier because of all the horrible things I read about them. I used the peppermint oil in my diffuser and set it next to my bed per the recommendation of my sister who also has one. I was amazed that it actually helped me breather better when i was sleeping. I could actually breathe. I wish there was more “how to” for the oils outside of just the diffuser. Especially ratios for dilution of some of them. I’m still not keen on putting on my skin.
This oil is so incredibly useful. It’s number two in my book next to Lavender.

I love peppermint, it smells so fresh and clean. I use it everyday in homemade cleaners I make. I tried diffusing it years ago (not in my radiance diffuser though) and overdid it I think. How many drops would you add to a nebulizing diffuser for a nice, mild, minty mist? I am definitely going to give peppermint a try for the mosquitoes during gardening season, thank you for the tips.
